The Gallery at Rest: A tour of the temporarily darkened Confederation Centre Art Gallery

Join Visual Arts Educator Evan Furness and Curator Pan Wendt on a walk through the Confederation Centre Art Gallery’s exhibitions, with a peek at the collections vault, as they introduce viewers to the work that would have been on display to the public this spring.

Hear them talk about specific works while also providing insight into how they use the permanent collection in their day-to-day work, which for Furness includes a new weekly series on online art activities, Art Class From Home. Although the conditions weren’t ideal – in some spaces, lighting was only partially available – it was a unique experience to wander through the usually lively spaces of Prince Edward Island’s major cultural institution.
