Making Cut Paper Puppets with DaveandJenn.
Artist duo DaveandJenn walk you through how to make your own hinged, paper puppet of a praying mantis, teaching you all the steps you need to know to make your own cut paper creations for animation, puppetry or layered collages.
About the artist.
DaveandJenn is the name that artists Jennifer Saleik and David Foy have worked under as collaborators since 2004. They each graduated from the Alberta College of Art + Design in 2006, making their first appearance as DaveandJenn in the graduating exhibition. Experimenting with form and materials is very important to them and they produce paintings, sculptures, installations, animations and digital videos. They are currently based in Calgary, Alberta.
